Ultra Low Emissions Zone – Enfield
The Ultra Low Emissions Zone was enforced from April 2021, in some Enfield areas, including some sections of Edmonton, Palmers Green, Bounds Green, Bowes Park. Locations including Grange Park, Winchmore Hill, Southgate, and Ponder End, were included under the further ULEZ expansion, which began in August 2023 to cover all London boroughs. Bullsmoor, Cockfosters, The Ridgeway and the River Lea competing the boundary of the ULEZ in Enfield.
It’s important to note that most vehicles, including vans, need to meet the ULEZ emissions standards. Or their drivers must pay a daily charge of £12.50 to drive within the zone. Failure to pay the charge within the specified time frame can result in a penalty charge of £180. The price will reduce to £90 if paid within 14 days.
